This season, Polan became the first three-time Ivy League Player of the Year selection. The Cardiff, Calif. native captained the Bulldogs to their fourth straight conference title and the winningest four-year stretch in Ivy League history - a 51-5 record in her four years at Yale.
Polan averaged 9.55 assists per set, tops in the Ivy League. She was also second in service aces with 36.
She wrapped up her Yale career in the top 10 in several statistical categories. Polan finished third all-time at Yale with 3,266 assists, fourth in assists per set (9.2), ninth in digs with 1,200 and 10th with 94 service aces.
Polan's three-peat for League Player of the Year marked only the second time the same school won the award three consecutive years - with the last time being 1991-93. Polan was the third unanimous selection in League history, joining Princeton's Parker Henritze in 2007 and Yale's Cat Dailey in 2008. Polan also became the seventh player in League history to earn four first-team All-Ivy selections.
